Prizes & Scholarships
 
 
The Delhi University holds competitive examination in the month of October each year for the award of All-India Entrance Scholarships of Rs. 250.00 per month each tenable for three years. Any Honours Course Students with at least 55% marks in the aggregate may apply along with the examination fees of Rs. 50.00 latest by 25th August in the prescribed forms obtainable from the Examination Branch-VII (I) of the University of Delhi.
 
   
  • Dr. S.S.Rao Memorial Prize in Physics
    The prize has been instituted in the memory of Dr. Surendra Singh Rao, a former Reader in Physics Department of Rajdhani College.
    Dr. S.S.Rao Memorial Prize of Rs. 1000/- is awarded to a student of Physics (Hons.) III Year of Rajdhani College securing highest marks in his class in the University Examination.
  • Dr. N.K. Anand Memorial Prize in Chemistry
    The prize has been instituted in the memory of Dr. N.K. Anand, a former Reader in Chemistry Department of Rajdhani College.
    Dr. N.K. Anand Memorial Prize of Rs. 800/- is awarded to the topper of Chemistry (Hons.) II year of Rajdhani College.
  • Shri Sultan Chand & Co. Memorial Scholarship in Commerce
    The scholarship shall be awarded to a student of B.Com (Hons.) III year who secures the highest percentage of marks but above 70% in the Coll
    ege in B.Com (Hons.) II year University examination, in first attempt, in the year immidiately preceeding. If in any year two or more candidated secure equal number of marks, the value of scholarship shall be divided equally.
 
 
 
Scholarship to S.C./S.T. Students

Students belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes are awarded scholarship by the states to which they belong. The students residing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi are advised to obtain prescribed application forms from the Accounts Section immediately after their admission and submit the same duly completed along with required certificates on or before 30th September to the Account Section for onward transmission to the concerned department. The students who are domicile of the states other than N.C.T. of Delhi should obtain the prescribed forms from their respective states and submit the same to their states after verification by the college. Claims of those students, who do not submit their applications in time will not be entertained.
 
 
 
The continuance of any freeship, scholarship or grant of other privileges depends upon satisfactory academic progress, regular attendance, discipline and good conduct of the student. Every stipend holder has to abide by the college rules and regulations.
