Facilities & Activities

	The College has a spacious, well-equipped and growing library. The book collection exceeds 94,300 volumes in various subjects. The library has open access to its general collection.

	The Library subscribes to different academic journals and periodicals of varied interest. Its Reading Room has seating capacity for 100 students.

		The students can become members of the library after filling the prescribed form. Reader's tickets are issued to members to enable them to borrow books from the library. These tickets are strictly non-transferable. The library hours and the rules governing the functioning of the library are notified from time to time for the benefit of members.

	Five readers tickets are issued for Pass Course/Honours students and six reader's tickets for Post Graduate students. In case of loss of library ticket(s), the librarian must be immediately informed in writing.

	Books are issued to the members for 15 days. It is advisable not to keep the book beyond its due date. In normal cases the overdue charges will be 25 paise per day per volume but after one month of overdue reminder, overdue will be charged at a special rate of one rupee per day per volume.

	Library Service Hours Reading Room: 08.00 A.M to 08.00 P.M Daily Issue/Return: 10.00 A.M. to 03.00 P.M. (Except on Wednesdays) (01.00 P.M. to 1.30 P.M) (Lunch) Wednesday: Renewal of Reader's Tickets/Issue of Duplicate Reader's Tickets, etc. In case of any inconvenience or problem concerning the library, students may meet the Librarian / Students Union Advisor, Chief Proctor / Principal.
	Library Clearance Each student is required to take clearance from the library before University Admit Card is issued ti him / her. Any change in the library hours and the Rules governing the functioning of the Library are notified from time to time for the benefit of the students.
